Apple has once again expanded the retail pickup options available from its online store. Most recently, pickup coverage grew to include New York City. The option is now available across California, where previously only the state’s Bay Area Apple Stores were eligible locations. The program started with just three San Francisco outlets. As anticipated, Apple has begun a pilot program offering retail pickup for online orders. The option must be selected during the checkout process at Apple’s online store. As we and others reported yesterday, California’s Governor has declared today as “Steve Jobs Day.” For those of you who are in this great state, please check with local media for events to mark this day and let’s all remember this great man who has given us so much who didn’t deserve to leave us so soon.
