Public Service Announcement

Unless you have been living under a rock, you know the spat between the state of Florida and Disney World.  If not, here’s an overview from CNN.com.

Now that the state has decided to take away Disney’s special business status, what could that mean for its current online services, more importantly, Disney Plus?

At the current pricing of $7.99/Month (or $79.99/Year) it isn’t a bargain by any means.  But with end users being burnt out with paying for streaming services (and the recent failure of CNN Plus) could Disney even consider hiking the price again to accommodate any future price hikes that the state of Florida may impose on the company once their Government is resolved and they have to be under Florida’s rules and regulations?  The company may also use the excuse of Florida to hike the price of its online service even more than what it is now.
