Mid Wednesday, Microsoft announced (via its Twitter feed) that it has scheduled a special launch and anniversary event to announce its new Visual Studio 2017 for developers.
The information reads in part:
Join us online, March 7 and 8, beginning at 8am PST, for an exciting, two-day virtual event announcing the release of Visual Studio 2017 and celebrating 20 years of Visual Studio! On March 7, watch inspiring keynotes and demos to help you get the most out of Visual Studio 2017. Continue the celebration on March 8, with a day of live, in-depth trainings for Developers, whether for mobile & desktop or for the web.
