The Apple Discussion board have been getting reports that Apple’s newest update for iOS, iOS 9.3 is bricking (making some iOS devices unusable) some of the older iPhones and iPads.
The bricking seems to occur during the activation phase (towards the end of the upgrade).
One customer even took theirs to a local Apple store for assistance. After several attempts, the Apple Genius was unable to help the customer.
As of this writing, Apple has yet to issue a statement about the problem.
