“iHeartRadio’s streaming app can now also reside on your Apple TV, assuming you have one of the newer fourth-generation set-top boxes from Apple,” LeFebvre reports. “The new Apple TV app will give you all the main elements of the iOS app, including Live Stations, Custom Stations based on songs or artists, and podcasts from the behemoth media network.”

“iHeartRadio used to be called Clear Channel Communications, a media group that all but gobbled up radio stations around the country, making FM stations all start to sound the same with playlists guaranteed to please the lowest common denominator of listeners,” LeFebvre reports. “It’s a strategy that’s done pretty well, as evidenced by its monetary success.”
