PDF Files are great. One file format can be read on multiple computer platforms (including iOS and Android). But what if you need to convert a PDF to a different file format for editing? Yes, there are programs that let you do the above. But what if you don’t need to convert a lot of documents all the time?
I stumbled upon a file conversion web site called ZAMZAR. Zamzar lets a user convert various types of files for free. One can not only convert document files, but video files as well.
Once a file is converted, the web site will email the user a URL where he/she can then download the newly converted file.
I’ve tested this service (by converting a 900 + page PDF file to a DOC file), and it does work as advertised.
