While the below did happen with the iPad 2, this problem was not as noticeable as with the newest device….
So I got my new iPad and am using it more then the iPad 2. I also got a new iPad Smart Cover. I shut the iPad Smart Cover each evening before bed. The next day, I noticed that their were three streaks going down the iPad’s screen (the above photo doesn’t show it that well, but they are there).
After further investigation, I came up with the fact that the ‘marks’ were coming from the Smart Cover. While this may not seem like a big deal to some (like me) others may think that the iPad’s internal parts are showing through (like I first did). Fortunately, their is a quick solution. Just take a dry cloth and wipe the screen. This also would not happen if one gets a screen protector for the device.
