Apple has announced a slew of new products. Plus looks back at the first iPhone introduction by Steve Jobs which happened 10 years ago this month.
Apple’s current CEO, Tim Cook, opened the event by looking back at the legacy of Steve Jobs and what he meant to the company while officially opening the brand new Steve Jobs Theater. He then did an overview of Hurricane relief, a new visitor’s center that’s soon to open on the main campus, and a new Apple Store.
The following is an overview of what was announced:
- Apple Watch (Series 3): New watch faces and cellular connectivity. Pre-order on 9/15/17, available on 9/22/2017.
- Apple TV – Named Apple TV 4K, higher quality movies, available 9/22.
- iPhone 8 – Wireless charging, all new display and resolution.
- iPhone X – Edge to Edge Display, Wireless Charging. Starts at $999.00. Available 11/03/2017.
- Airpower – Wireless charger. Available early 2018.
