Amazon Alexa is getting even smarter with new integration with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service, according to PCMag. Starting today in the USA, Amazon Alexa users can link their Xbox account in the Alexa app and use their voice for a number of Alexa commands. Any device powered by Amazon Alexa, including Amazon’s extensive Echo lineup of products, should be able to take advantage of the new commands.
The new commands for Amazon Alexa with Xbox Game Pass include:
- Remotely installing specific Xbox Game Pass games to your Xbox console
- Just say “Alexa, download ‘insert game’ from Xbox Game Pass”
- Ask for information on popular games currently on Xbox Game Pass
- Ask what games are new to Xbox Game Pass, or are leaving the service soon
- Ask about specific games that may be available on Xbox Game Pass
