Typing commands in Terminal can be quite long.  Wouldn’t it be nice if you could repeat a command without retyping it?

You can!  Here’s how:

  1. Open Terminal.
  2. Type a command and then press [Return].
  3. To repeat the command, just press the UP ARROW key.
  4. That’s it.
