Mac Tip: What does the Question Mark inside a Folder mean on a Mac?

Have you ever seen this when booting your Mac?  If you have, then you know what this means.  If you haven’t, you don’t want too.  (See below).

• A Question mark inside of a Folder when booting on Mac means there is no operating system installed, so the computer cannot boot up.
• You will have to use Disk Utility (and the latest backup) to restore all of your apps and data.
