How to turn off Text Predictions on iPad and iPhone

Text Predictions are a useful feature when you’re texting someone in a hurry.  But what if you want to turn the feature off?

Here’s how:

1. Open the “Settings” app on iPhone or iPad.
2. Go to “General” and then to “Keyboard”.
3. Locate the setting for “Show Predictions Inline” and turn that OFF to disable the inline text typing predictions.
4. Exit out of Settings. 
5. That’s it.
