How to Mute Sound in Safari

With some web sites (such as YouTube) you can mute the current web page video right from Safari.

Here’s how:

1. Go to YouTube.com.
2. Pick a video to watch.
3. While the video is playing, you’ll see a little speaker icon at the end of the current URL.
4. Click it.
5. It’ll Mute the sound of the web page.
6. That’s it.

Bonus Tip:

While you have multiple tabs or windows open, you could Mute separate tabs or Windows.
