Apple’s Continuity feature can be a great way to share information between your Mac and iPad. But sometimes you have to disable the feature on the iPad:

To disable Continuity features on an iPad, you need to turn off Handoff and Continuity Camera. This can be done by going to Settings > General > AirPlay & Handoff and toggling off the respective features, according to Apple Support and Verizon.

Steps to disable Handoff:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPad.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap AirPlay & Handoff.
  4. Toggle the Handoff switch to the off position. 
Steps to disable Continuity Camera:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPad.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap AirPlay & Handoff.
  4. Toggle the Continuity Camera switch to the off position. 
By disabling these features, you will prevent your iPad from interacting with other Apple devices through Continuity.
