On an Android phone, download the Tracker Detect app from Google Playto manually scan. - Check for alerts: An automatic alert will pop up on your screen if an unknown AirTag has been with you for a period of time.
- Use Find My: Open the Find My app, go to the “Items” tab, and scroll to the bottom to see a list of “Unknown Items Detected with You”.
- Play a sound: If an alert has been triggered, tap “Play Sound” to make the AirTag emit a sound and help you locate it.
- Use Precision Finding: On supported iPhones, tap “Find Nearby” for a visual guide with distance and direction to the AirTag.
- Get info: Hold the top of your iPhone near the AirTag until a notification appears, then tap it to view owner information, such as a phone number or email address.
