Keeping the software up-to-date on your Mac is very important as they can contain feature updates, security fixes, and more.  Software updates are done via the Mac app store.

Here’s how:

  1. Click on the Mac App Store icon in the Finder.
  2. On the left side menu, select Update.
  3. It’ll list any software that has been updated or will be updated.
  4. Click Update All.
  5. That’s it.
