How to change back the Apple TV Home Button in 10.1

Apple TV’s new TV App shows promise.  But with limited support from Cable and Satellite providers, it can be a pain to always go back to the app when one presses the HOME button.  But fortunately, Apple provides a way to make the HOME button go back to the standard Apple TV interface.

Here’s how:

1. At the HOME SCREEN, select Settings > Remotes and Devices > Home Button.
2. Change that option to Home Screen.
3. That’s it.
