Having problems with your M1 Mac mini or MacBook Pro rebooting? You’re NOT alone!

This morning, while working on the site, I started having problems with my brand new M1 Mac Mini.  The problem started when I was using Pixelmator for graphic work.  I then exited out of there, and rebooted the machine.

When it came back, the Mini started locking up and auto rebooting itself.  After an hour searching for the problem (thanks Google!) I’ve found out that I wasn’t alone with this problem, as complaints starting showing up in Apple’s Support Boards before, and after updating to MacOS 11.3.

Turns out, it was my 3rd party USB 3 Hub causing the problem.

No fix in site for it yet.  I’ll update this if Apple even acknowledges the problem.
