Since iOS 7 became public in September, users have been complaining about random crashes from the home screen and with some 3rd party apps that have not been designed or updated to iOS 7, giving the user for what is now known as the “white or black screen of death.”
According to AppleInsider.com, Apple issued a statement saying that it is aware of the issues and is working on a fix for the random errors:
“We have a fix in an upcoming software update for a bug that can occasionally cause a home screen crash,” said Apple spokesperson Trudy Muller.”
As of this writing, registered developers are working with iOS 7.1 Beta 4. Â But it has not been said if they have been asked to review such an issue.
