How to check what Apple Watch Model you have

While uncommon, it maybe necessary to know what Apple Watch model you currently have.  There are two ways to do this:

Apple Watch is Paired with an iPhone:

1. Open the watch app on the iPhone.
2. Tap “My Watch”, and then tap the name of your watch.
3. Tap “General” and then “About”.  Scroll down to the Model Number.
4. Compare the number to that listed on Apple’s Support website.

Apple Watch is NOT Paired with an iPhone:

1. Flip the watch over.
2. The Model Number is engraved on the back of the watch.
3. Compare the number to that listed on Apple’s Support website.

That’s it.
