How to reset your iOS device back to factory settings

Preforming a factory reset of your iOS device is a good idea.  Especially if you’re planning on selling it, giving it away, or to even take it to a local Apple Store for repairs.

Fortunately, Apple made it easy for you to do the above.

Here’s how:

1. From the main screen, select SETTINGS > GENERAL > RESET > ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS.
2. Tap GENERAL.
3. Scroll down to RESET.
4. Choose RESET ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS.
5. Enter your passcode if asked.
6. Enter your Apple ID and Password.
7. Thats it.
