How to get the Battery Percentage from the iPhone X Forward

For some reason, Apple has decided to remove the ‘always on’ battery percentage indicator in the upper-right corner of the screen.

When my girlfriend got her new iPhone XS Max, she wanted to know how to view the battery percentage.  After searching Google, here’s how:

• Touch the screen to activate the phone.
• Pull DOWN from the UPPER RIGHT corner of the screen.
• The battery percentage will show in the usual place.
• That’s it.
