According to 9to5Mac.com, Apple’s Developer’s web site is back online after over a week of not being available due to an “attack” on its databases and other information.
Things still aren’t looking up for BlackBerry, as the struggling Canadian phone maker revealed Thursday it will lay off 250 more employees as part of a continuing plan to cut costs and rescale its operations. Via: AppleInsider.com
In what would be a marked departure from its usual iPhone introduction protocol, Apple is said to be preparing to discontinue production of the iPhone 5 when it debuts the handset’s successor later this year, opting instead to produce only the “iPhone 5S” and an unannounced lower-priced counterpart.
