Apple Maps users in the Austria are noticing the addition of some public transportation directions. Although it isn’t available everywhere as of this writing. Apple is expanding their Map platform for several years, with the country being the latest addition.
Apple continues to expand its look around feature for its Apple Maps app by adding more popular cities around the world. This time, it has added Phoenix, Arizona to the list. Apple Maps Look Around feature allows a user to select a place and (like Google’s StreetView) look around an area. The feature is available now.
Apple Maps will be expanding its coverage over the next few weeks as its mapping vehicles will be on the ground in Finland, Norway and Sweden. Apple has been aggressively expanding its Apple Maps service within the last few years with transportation and mapping information.
