How to: Disable the Mail Alert Sound in iOS

Have you ever been in a meeting and have that stupid “ding” come on when you get email?  Well, here’s how to shut the ding off:

1.  Go in to Settings > Notification Center.

2.  Select Mail, and then go into the account that you wish to disable the ding sound.

3.  Select the Alert Sounds option.

4.  Finally, select NONE.

That’s it.
