When Apple announced the 4th generation iPad during the keynote, recent buyers of the 3rd generation were left out – or so they thought.  It seems that some Apple retail stores are allowing customers to trade in their 3rd generation for the newest one.  We say some because this doesn’t seem to be an Apple authorized offer.

We’ve heard, that the best chance to trade-up is that the current iPad meets certain conditions:

1.  The iPad was purchased within a 14 day time period.
2.  Customer has original Apple store sales receipt.
3.  Original box, cables, etc. are included.

Again, not all Apple retail stores are doing this.  But it is worth a shot.
