About six months ago, I got myself an Amazon 4K Fire TV Stick to see how it worked with our new Samsung TV.

So about month three, I went to use the stick, and it wasn’t working.  I unplugged the stick itself, plugged it back in, even unplugged the TV thinking that the TV wasn’t ‘seeing’ the HDMI port that the stick was plugged into.  Still no go.  I even took the stick out of the port and put it back in – still no go.

I then asked around if anyone else had the same problem.  I got about 50 responses saying that it’s a hit-and-miss type situation.  Some of the people have had their stick for years, while others only got half of the time with it as I did.

I’ve now reordered one from QVC so I can see how that one works.  Yes, I’ll let you know how it went as soon as possible.
