This is going to be a weird article, but I am writing it so someone else doesn’t make a jerk out of themselves if they’re trying to impress someone with their Apple knowledge.

I’ve been using iPhones ever since the first one came out in 2007.  Each time I got a new one, I had to search high and low for a damn paperclip and hope it was the right size for the little damn hole to eject the phone card tray from the phone.

Recently, my girlfriend got the new iPhone XS Max.  So, without digging further inside the box, I again searched high and low for a paperclip and hope it would fit into the tray hole (which took about 5-10 minutes to find the right one) again.

After setting it up I then dug inside the box.  Much to my surprise I found this little useful tool that would have made it a lot easier to eject the SIM tray to install the card!

Moral to the story, always do a “search and destroy” mission and look inside the box before making a total ass out of yourself in front of the one you love!
