On a date that will be forever embedded in a 1990’s computer geek’s mind, August 24th, 1995 saw the dawn of a new era with the Windows operating system, a new operating system called Windows 95.

It was supposed to be the operating system of its time – be able to run without resetting, or so claimed that famous song “Start Me Up” that Microsoft paid millions to have the rights too.
