iPhone apps are great, especially when they use the latest technologies that an iPhone or iPad offers.

Developers of these apps try and incorporate as much new stuff as they can. They also try and squash as many bugs as possible to ensure that the end user has the best experiences with their app.

But what some end users don’t realize is that they need to ensure that they are running the latest version of an app., and that means checking for updates to their current apps as often as possible.

While it is true that some apps will update themselves, that may mean that those updates may not get to an end user as quickly as possible.

Here’s how to make sure your apps are up to date:

  1.  Tap the App Store icon.
  2.  Select the UPDATE icon on the lower-right corner of the screen.
  3.  That section will show you what app(s) need to be updated.
  4.   Press the UPDATE ALL button located on the upper-right of the screen.
  5.   The app(s) will automatically update.
  6.   That’s it.

It’s recommended that you check for updates at least once or twice a week.
