Desktop Tip: Use the Space Bar to Page Through Web Sites, Facebook, and Twitter

Over the past few months, my down arrow key hasn’t been working on my MacBook Pro.  So it was a pain in the ass using web sites and social media.  That is, until I accidentally found a way to “page” through a web site without the down arrow key.

Here’s how:

1.  Go to any web site (such as https://www.compuscoop.com/)

2.  Make sure you’re at the top of the web site.

3.  Now tap the [Space Bar].  The web page will show a page at a time.

4.  That’s it.

Additional Tip: Press [Command] + [Up Arrow] to quickly go to the top of the web site.

This tip should work with Firefox and Safari web browsers (this tip wasn’t tested on Google Crome).
