Since I wrote the first post of the same title, I then went over to AT&T to see if they could activate my girlfriend’s iPhone (after trying all morning AND making 3 calls to AT&T).

After waiting in line for 5 + minutes, the rep asked what was wrong with the phone.  I told her what the problem was.  She then asked where I got the phone – I told her I ordered it from Apple.  She then told me that “We’re having problems with iPhones ordered from Apple not activating.  You’ll have to contact them.”  But because she was a nice person (and must had seen my frustrated face) she tried again – Lord and behold it worked.

To be fair: I don’t blame the women that helped me.  She was only going by what she seen during the day.

So, when all else fails, blame Apple.
