Last week, Apple announced a special media event on September 12th. With the invite was an awesome looking Apple logo.
So, some of us decided to take that logo and make it into a desktop background. Here’s how:
- Copy the Apple logo below (CTRL+Click) on the logo.
- Select “Save as” and put it on your Desktop for easy access later.
- Make a New Folder in the Picture Folder. Name it Desktop Backgrounds.
- Move the Apple logo into this new folder.
- Click > System Preferences.
- Select the DESKTOP & SCREEN SAVER icon.
- Make sure that the Desktop option is selected on the top.
- Click the “+” button (lower-left, below where it lists all the folders).
- When a window drops down, select the newly created folder in the Pictures folder.
- Select (click on) the Apple Logo.
- Make sure that the CENTER option is checked in the drop down menu above.
- Click OK.
- Close the System Preferences window.
- That’s it!
