IBM’s Watson Super computer was featured during a segment about Artificial Intelligence on the longest running magazine TV show 60 Minutes.
The 30-40 minute segment showed how Watson came to be and how it is helping not only doctors but patients learn about and find cures for such ailments as Cancer and other diseases.
The report interviewed a women with Cancer. Thanks to IBM Watson, her Cancer slowed down progression and she had a few more months with her family. The women passed away before the 60 Minutes report was finished.
