According to 9to5Mac.com, both Apple Retail stores and Apple resellers are receiving large shipments of iPad Airs.  The site has also said that each store will receive about 500 units each.

All Apple Stores will open at 8 a.m. local time on November 1st to accommodate those who want to get the new iPad Air.  This announcement comes directly from Apple.
